Here's Why Alabama DL Jarran Reed Is Wearing A Purple And Gold Suit

Alabama defensive tackle Jarran Reed showed up at the NFL Draft tonight looking stylish in a purple and gold suit.

However, because purple and gold are the colors of LSU, one of the Crimson Tide's bigger rivals, some people on social media ound Reed's style choice a curious one. However, there's a reason why Reed went with this color scheme. Purple and gold are the official colors of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, of which Reed is a member.

Omega Psi Phi is one of The Divine Nine historically Black Greek letter organizations. You can see the Omega pin on Reed's tie.
