Ian Jackson - 2021 four-star linebacker - took to Twitter on Thursday to make a big announcement.

The elite 2021 prospect announced his top 10 schools this evening. Nebraska, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Louisville and Texas A&M are still in the mix for the four-star LB.

Jackson currently ranks as the No. 25 outside linebacker and 309th ranked overall prospect in the 2021 cycle, according to 247Sports composite score. There's a reason so many prominent programs are recruiting him.

The Alabama native posted his top 10 schools announcement on Thursday afternoon. Check out the graphic below:

There's plenty to like about Jackson in regards to evaluating him as a prospect. The 6-foot-1, 208-pound linebacker already has the size to be a legitimate collegiate starter.

Jackson, the Alabama native, is expected to stay in SEC country. Most expect him to end up with Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide after visiting Alabama already earlier this year. Jackson has also taken visits to Tennessee and Florida State. Georgia, Auburn and LSU all appear to be big-time contenders to land the four-star LB as well.

Jackson's recruitment continues to pick up steam as the off-season rolls along. The four-star prospect is expected to make a commitment decision at some point this year.
