Jalen Hurts has heard his name mentioned in a bunch of transfer rumors this season, as most expect the Alabama quarterback to play elsewhere in 2019.

However, the Crimson Tide's backup quarterback is refusing to talk about a transfer. Alabama's former starting QB is actually making it seem like he could stay put in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Hurts said earlier in the week that his story at Alabama was far from over.

"My story's far from over," Hurts said this week. "That's something that people said. Not me. Who said it was over?"

Hurts added that he's never discussed transferring.

"I've never said anything about transferring," Hurts said. "Those words have never come out of my mouth. It's always been kind of assumptions."

Hurts has graduated from the University of Alabama and will be pursuing graduate school. He recently revealed that he's already applied for graduate Alabama.

"Jalen Hurts confirms that he has applied for Grad School at The University of Alabama for Sports Management."

Is it possible that Hurts ends up shocking everyone and staying at Alabama for his final season? Maybe...

Alabama, meanwhile, is set to play Oklahoma at 8 p.m. E.T.

Hurts could see some action, with Tua Tagovailoa recovering from injury.
