After months and months of speculation, it appears that Jalen Hurts will seek a transfer.
Ahead of the national championship, Hurt would only focus on the game against Clemson.
As has been the case all year, Tua Tagovailoa started the game, but he struggled, throwing a pair of early interceptions including a first quarter pick six that helped Clemson jump out to a fast start.
Clemson dominated the second half, en route to a shocking 44-16 blowout of the Crimson Tide.
Hurts came on in relief late, with the game already in hand. He threw two incomplete passes, and lost four yards on the ground.
In the SEC Championship win over Georgia, Hurts proved once again that he can win games in the biggest spots that the sport has to offer. He should get that opportunity once again.
According to a report, Jalen Hurts is listed in the NCAA transfer portal.
From CBS Sports/247Sports’ Barton Simmons:
From a source: Jalen Hurts' name is now in the transfer portal.

Last year, Hurts’ father said he would be the biggest free agent in college football history. That is about to come to fruition, should he elect to leave Tuscaloosa.
Hurts graduated from Alabama a few weeks ago, and will be able to play right away. The transfer portal doesn’t mean that he is definitely leaving, but with Tagovailoa back for his junior year, it seems almost definite that he will look elsewhere.
