Kaden Martin, son of Tennessee great and current USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin, just finished his eighth grade season. Today, he got an offer from Alabama.

While official scholarship offers don't come until much farther along in the recruiting process, top middle school recruits like Kaden Martin have started getting attention from college football programs.

One would think that Nick Saban wouldn't need to do things like giving offers to eighth grade players, but today he did just that with Martin.

The young signal caller announced the big news on Twitter.

Alabama is actually the second offer that Martin has picked up. The first one makes this story even better. Back in May, he received his first offer from new FAU coach and former Saban offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin,

Martin is a class of 2022 recruit, so he hasn't been ranked by the recruiting sites yet, but based on these early offers, and his quarterback pedigree, he is probably a pretty talented young player.

Expect to see this name a lot more as he, you know, gets to high school.
