Katherine Webb may be an Auburn grad, but there was no chance that her newborn son with former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron would be anything but an Alabama fan.
Apparently people have asked Webb about young Tripp McCarron's preference, however, so she put up a new photo on Instagram to clear things up. It shows the two-month old holding a football player doll in very obvious Alabama colors.
Sorry Auburn fans, but you're going to have to wait for the next famous cross-school couple.
Tripp McCarron was born back in late May. McCarron's brother, Middle Tennessee fullback Corey McCarron, has already determined that he will be taking the reigns as Crimson Tide quarterback as a member of the 2034 signing class. We don't imagine that whomever is coaching the Crimson Tide at that point will have to do much of a sell-job on the parents if he does happen to be a Division I prospect.
McCarron played for Nick Saban and Alabama from 2009-2013, starting his final three seasons in Tuscaloosa. He was a member of three separate BCS National Championship Crimson Tide teams during his collegiate career. He is now a back-up quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
