Alabama Offered A 6-foot-7, 370-Pound 8th Grader This Weekend

Kiyaunta Goodwin stands with Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

Kiyaunta Goodwin is only in eighth grade but the class of 2022 prospect is already a well-known name in recruiting. That tends to happen when you're 6-foot-7, 370 pounds.

Before this weekend, the massive Goodwin already held offers from Kentucky, Georgia, LSU, Louisville and Syracuse. Now, he has one from Alabama.

The Crimson Tide offered the gargantuan teenager--he won't turn 15 until November--on Sunday.

In the photo Goodwin posted on Twitter, the size difference between him and Nick Saban is fantastic.

According to Bleacher Report , doctors have told Goodwin's mother that her son could grow to be over seven feet tall.

By the age of four, doctors told his mother that he could grow to be 7’10” based on his bone structure. On a visit a few months ago, doctors said that Goodwin could still grow to be more than seven feet tall.

If Goodwin does get to 7-feet, that might actually make him too tall to have a football career. Pretty crazy.

In the meantime, he still has four years of high school in front of him, which is plenty of time for him to pick up more offers.
