The past couple of weeks have been huge for Jalen Hurts, as the Alabama quarterback led the Crimson Tide to a comeback victory in the SEC Championship Game, replacing an injured Tua Tagovailoa, before graduating from the school.

One of Hurts' former coaches, Lane Kiffin, is very proud.

The FAU head coach (who might pursue Hurts on the graduate transfer market) tweeted a message for Hurts following his graduation.

"So proud of u!! #class. A long ways from meeting u in high school," he tweeted.

Kiffin tweeted the message in response to a viral video showing Hurts getting a standing ovation at graduation.

It was pretty awesome:

Hurts is expected to hit the graduate transfer market following this season at Alabama. Kiffin's FAU program is likely to be one of the programs interested in him, though they'll likely have some serious competition.
