Saturday morning, it was reported that Ed Orgeron will become LSU's next head coach after leading the team to a 5-2 record after the firing of Les Miles. Could he be bringing in a big name for the offensive coordinator position?
According to multiple reports, Orgeron will attempt to lure current Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin away from Tuscaloosa. Kiffin and Orgeron have an extensive history coaching together, so the news doesn't come as a surprise.
Kiffin, who was fired as USC's head coach back in 2013, signed on as Alabama's offensive coordinator back in 2014. He helped the team win a national title last season.
Alabama's regular season wraps up today with its Iron Bowl matchup against Auburn. It's going to be an interesting few days here.
