Lane Kiffin Once Again Left Behind By Alabama Team Bus

Alabama OC Lane Kiffin got left behind by Alabama team buses once again on Thursday morning after a media day session.

Alabama OC and incoming FAU head coach Lane Kiffin, for the second time in two years, found himself without a ride after a media session.

"Yep, got left again," Kiffin told ESPN.

Alabama is set to take on Washington in the College Football Playoff semifinal this Saturday, and Thursday was the scheduled media day. After an hour-long session of interviews, the Alabama team buses were nowhere to be found as Kiffin exited the Georgia Dome locker room. Turns out they were long gone and headed back to the hotel in downtown Atlanta.

Luckily, he was able to hitch a ride back to the team hotel with one of the Peach Bowl officials.

Sounds like not much has changed. After Alabama defeated Clemson 45-40 in the national championship last year, Kiffin was left without a ride, as the buses pulled out of the stadium while he was still talking to reporters. He attempted to get officials to stop the bus, but it was futile.

One can only assume that as head coach of FAU, he'll have full control of the bussing situation there.
