Alabama Star Minkah Fitzpatrick Back In Game After Leaving Peach Bowl With Injury

Minkah Fitzpatrick injury update: the Alabama star defensive back left today's Peach Bowl with an apparent injury, but he's back on the field a few plays later.

In the 2nd quarter of today's College Football Playoff Semifinal against Washington, Fitzpatrick left after colliding with teammate Dalvin Tomlinson. Both players were shaken up, and Fitzpatrick looked to have gotten the worst of it. Luckily for the Tide, he has returned to the field.

Fitzpatrick, a consensus All-American, is one of the standouts if a loaded defensive backfield for the Crimson Tide. He forced a fumble earlier in the game, and has four interceptions and two touchdowns this season.

Alabama leads Washington 17-7 with 1:13 left in the second quarter.
