After three memorable seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Jalen Hurts is ready to take his talents to another program. While there is no timetable for his official decision, the latest betting odds are already out and they’re quite telling.
With Tua Tagovailoa cementing himself as the starting quarterback for Alabama, Hurts made the decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
The dual-threat quarterback has won several big games for the Crimson Tide, has a national title and was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year back in 2016.
Hurts has already started taking visits for next season, which included trips to Maryland, Miami and Oklahoma over the weekend.
Well, it turns out that the Terrapins are the overwhelming favorites to land Hurts. This would definitely make sense considering that he visited the program and has a strong relationship with head coach Mike Locksley.

The Hurricanes also have an interesting connection to Hurts because Dan Enos recently left Alabama’s coaching staff to become the offensive coordinator for Miami.
It’s surprising that Oklahoma isn’t among the top teams in terms of odds, especially considering the success that Lincoln Riley had with former transfers in Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.
Either way it should be an exciting period for Hurts and all the teams pursuing the talented quarterback.
