Less than three months ago, Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams went down with a torn ACL during the first half of the national championship game.
Obviously, there was concern over how the injury would impact Williams' draft stock. Judging by how his rehab appears to be going, it won't hamper him much.
On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out a video of Williams during a recent workout. The speedy draft hopeful appears to be moving pretty well on his surgically-repaired knee.
Earlier this month, Williams said he was ahead of schedule in his ACL recovery. After this new video emerged, fans of a multitude of NFL teams took to Twitter to express their hope that their favorite franchise drafts the Crimson Tide star.
Right now, Williams is expected to be a first-round pick. After two quiet seasons at Ohio State, the onetime elite recruit transferred to Alabama, where he broke out in 2021 to the tune of 79 receptions, 1,572 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.
The 2022 NFL Draft will be held April 28-30 in Las Vegas.
