Nick Saban Comments On Alabama's Traditional Uniforms

Most Alabama fans are traditionalists when it comes to uniforms - they don't want the team to alter its look, not even for one game. Luckily, it looks like head coach Nick Saban agrees with their stance.

Thursday night, Saban, on his radio show, told listeners that he doesn't believe that anyone "has a right" to mess with Alabama's uniforms. He doesn't appear to have any desire to change things up. Via Michael Casagrande of AL.com:

"But I'm such a traditionalist when it comes to ... everybody has an idea of what Alabama football players are supposed to look like when they come out of the tunnel in terms of the uniform that they wore and the uniform that we wear," Saban said. "That's not a tradition that I think anybody has a right to mess with. I'm sure that my friends at Nike, who always want to come up with some new uniform for us to wear, I guess that's the business side of it that I should be more accommodating to," he said.

Saban's Tide take on Mississippi State in Starkville Saturday. They'll be wearing their traditional away uniforms.
