Nick Saban Issues Update On Kenyan Drake, Won't Rule Him Out For Iron Bowl

Alabama running back Kenyan Drake suffered a broken arm against Mississippi State back on November 14, but he seems to be recovering rather quickly from the injury. Drake rejoined practice on a limited basis this week, and Saban went as far as to not rule him out for the Iron Bowl.

">November 25, 2015 has more on Drake's week:

Drake held a football in his right arm while trainers lightly hit the arm with a pad, testing Drake's ability to hold onto the ball with contact.

"It's day-to-day to see how he progresses and see how he regains the functional use of his hand and arm," coach Nick Saban said Monday.

We wouldn't count on Drake to play, but this should be encouraging news for Alabama fans. Alabama should be okay with Derrick Henry shouldering the load against a shaky Auburn defense, if Drake is unavailable.
