Nick Saban Ripped By Media After Press Conference Concerning Jonathan Taylor Situation

Alabama head coach Nick Saban addressed the media this evening, and while he fielded questions about play on the field, much of the focus was on the situation with Jonathan Taylor. Taylor, a former Georgia defensive tackle, was dismissed from his second SEC program this week after being charged with domestic violence third-degree assault and domestic violence third-degree criminal mischief by Tuscaloosa police.

Some key quotes from Saban:

Many members of the media are ripping the Crimson Tide head coach for his comments:

">@_DCReeves: Saban: I’ve never gotten rid of a guy after a second incident with drug and alcohol issues.

Some are calling this Saban's worst press conference ever. Based on the response from the greater college football community, that may not be far off.
