Lane Kiffin could be gone from Alabama after one season, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. The NFL insider reported Sunday afternoon that the Crimson Tide offensive coordinator is the "front runner" to land the same position with the San Francisco 49ers.
ESPN college football personality Paul Finebaum believes the 39-year-old coach would prefer to stay in Tuscaloosa, hinting that Nick Saban will likely have to decide if he's willing to shell out more money to keep his offensive coordinator.
In 2014, Kiffin signed a contract with Alabama worth more than $2 million over three years.

So, Alabama fans, is it worth it to keep Kiffin around? The Crimson Tide's offense sputtered in its College Football Playoff game against Ohio State, but averaged nearly 37 points a game in 2014.
