The star of tonight's BCS National Championship Game isn't on the field. It's Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron's girlfriend, Katherine Webb. She went from having a few hundred Twitter followers last week to over 70,000 tonight.
Webb graduated from Alabama rival Auburn University in 2011 and was Miss Alabama 2012 (she gave up her crown to Mary Margaret McCord on December 9th). The Twitterverse exploded when ESPN showed her in the stands in Miami. Brent Musburger commented that she was "a beautiful woman" and that kids in Alabama should start playing catch in their backyards in hopes of becoming a quarterback and landing a woman who looks like Webb.
So who exactly is Katherine Webb? Here's everything you need to know about the 23-year-old southern belle.
Webb was born in Montgomery, Alabama. She later moved to Columbus, Georgia where she attended middle school and high school.
Webb attended Auburn University and graduated in May 2011. She was a Business Management and Administration major.
Fun fact: She works for Chick-fil-A as a training director in Georgia. (She must not eat much of the fast food.)
Of course, she also models. Here she is on the cover of Alabama Weddings.
Back in 2007, Webb went for the Miss Georgia USA title and lost. She didn't enter another pageant until she graduated.
In January 2012, she won Miss Alabama USA 2012. She lost the Miss USA crown to current Miss Universe, New Hampshire's Olivia Culpo.
Webb loves playing paintball, fishing and skeet shooting.
She's also been to India to help open a dental clinic.
Of course, she's dating Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.
But don't worry guys, it looks like she also has a very cute sister.
