Report: Alabama's A.J. McCarron Rubbed NFL Teams The Wrong Way During Interviews

A.J. McCarron is a three-time national champion and one of the most productive college football quarterbacks of the last decade. But as the NFL Draft's third-and-final day begins, the former Alabama quarterback remains unselected.

Why? Many would say it's because he lacks an NFL arm, he was surrounded with elite talent in Tuscaloosa, and he's an average athlete.

Also, apparently, he "rubbed teams the wrong way" during interviews, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter's colleague at ESPN, Chris Mortensen, reported that McCarron's claim that would go "anywhere from 16th to 35th" in the NFL Draft did not set well with NFL executives.

McCarron has long been known as a confident player.

McCarron's reality show also raised questions among NFL personnel.

The NFL Draft's fourth round begins Saturday at 12 p.m E.T.
