Report: Indianapolis Colts C Ryan Kelly To Miss 6-to-8 Weeks After Foot Surgery

This is bad news for Kelly and Indy.

The Indianapolis Colts have been plagued by poor offensive line play for the past few years, and not having their promising second-year center to start the 2017 season won't help matters.

According to a new report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kelly will undergo surgery tomorrow on a bone defect in his foot and will be out 6-to-8 weeks.

Kelly was carted off the field a week ago and later seen on crutches.

Kelly started all 16 games for the Colts as a rookie after being selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

While in college at Alabama in 2015, he won the Dave Rimington Trophy for being the best center in college football and was named a unanimous All-American.
