Report: Teams Impressed With Reuben Foster's Apology For NFL Combine Dismissal
Reuben Foster was dismissed from the NFL Combine after an incident with a hospital worker. Today, he reportedly spoke with a group of team reps to explain the situation.
After his agent sent out a letter about the situation to all 32 NFL teams, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that Foster met with a group of representatives from 20 teams to further apologize for the incident ahead of Alabama's Pro Day.
Foster is a potential first round pick, and absolutely did not help himself with the situation at the NFL Combine, but it sounds like he has a chance to save his draft stock a bit in the aftermath, including senior day in Tuscaloosa.
Reuben Foster led the Crimson Tide defense with 115 total tackles in 2016-17, including 13 tackles for loss, and chipped in five sacks. CBS Sports has Foster ranked No. 10 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft class, and No. 1 among inside linebackers.
