Last week, Nick Saban briefly mentioned the possibility of launching a Twitter account. The social media platform has become incredibly important in recruiting, and even Saban sees the value in it. He's not there yet, though. On Wednesday, an account with the handle @BamaCoachSaban was put up, and has been steadily gaining followers. As of this posting, he is over 1,000, after just one tweet.
Tuscaloosa News writer Cecil Hurt saw the account and inquired with Alabama. Alas, it is not the real Saban.

Saban may be on Twitter one day, but you'll have to wait a little longer to follow him, 'Bama fans.
