Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa received some inspiring words from some pretty legendary football players ahead of his state title game.
Tua Tagovailoa, the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the nation for the class of 2017, is an Alabama commit, and confirmed that he will enroll early just a few days ago. Ahead of his Hawaii state championship game, Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota and Hawaii legend Timmy Chang texted him with some words of encouragement.
Mariota and Chang both attended Tagovailoa's St. Louis School in Honolulu.
Tagovailoa led his team to a 30-14 win over Kahuku for the state title this past Saturday. He went 16-for-25 for 243 yards and a touchdown while also picking up a rushing touchdown and 138 yards on the ground.
