Landon Collins made a play that might have saved Alabama's season.
Trailing by one point with about two minutes left, Arkansas faced a 3rd and 10 from their own 28-yard line. Razorbacks' quarterback Brandon Allen lofted a pass across his body from the right side of the field to the far left. It was intercepted by Crimson Tide All-American safety Landon Collins.
Alabama held on to win, 14-13, avoiding what could have been their first two-game losing streak since Nick Saban's first season in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
With the win, Alabama remains a serious contender to win the SEC West and compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide improved to 5-1, 2-1 in the SEC. Arkansas dropped to 3-3, 0-3 in the SEC with the loss.
