Video: Nation's No. 1 RB Damien Harris Commits To Alabama

On the same day that Alabama junior running back T.J. Yeldon officially announced he is leaving school for the NFL, the Crimson Tide gained the commitment of a potential future star at the position. 

Friday morning, five-star running back Damien Harris, rated the No. 1 running back in the country by, committed to play at Alabama. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound back out of Berea, Ky., chose Nick Saban's program over Kentucky and Ohio State, among other offers. 

Despite having to replace Yeldon, Alabama will be quite loaded in the backfield next fall. The Crimson Tide bring back leading rusher Derrick Henry, freshman Tyren Jones, sophomore Altee Tenpenny and a host of other young talent. Alabama will also bring in Harris and four-star running back Desherrius Flowers, who has already enrolled at the school.
