Kerry Goode was a running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1983-87. Recently, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's Disease, an incurable neurodegenerative disease for which there is no known cure.
In a video on Facebook, Goode shared the touching voicemail he received from Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who called and left an incredible message of support for the Town Creek, Ala. native.
The Ultimate in class... Is how a person treats others who can do nothing for him. Thanks Coach Saban!

It's rare that the outside world gets to see or hear this side of Saban. The Alabama family should be as proud of this as they are of his multiple national championships.
