The Crimson Tide scraped past their rival tonight.
Alabama's men's basketball team eked out a win over its rival tonight. The unranked Crimson Tide topped No. 17 Auburn, 76-71, in Tuscaloosa.
Avery Johnson's team got arguably its best win of the season. The Tigers came into the night having lost just one game.
Alabama, which trailed by 3 points at halftime, outpaced Auburn in the second half. The team was led by freshman guard John Petty, who dropped 27 points, including eight 3-pointers.
The win was made more impressive by the fact that it came without star point guard Collin Sexton. The five-star freshman was held out with an injury.
None of this was the best part of the night, though. That came during a shot into the Alabama stands.
A young man - an Alabama student, presumably - went viral on social media with his kind of NSFW celebration. It's fun to watch, though.
Skye Underwood tweeted out the video. Check it out:
That move came when Alabama was losing, too. What was this guy doing when the Crimson Tide won?
Someone needs to get on that, please. ASAP.
Alabama and Auburn are set to play again on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. E.T. on the SEC Network.
