The FS1 host is high on Alabama's freshman hero.

Tua Tagovailoa is the talk of the college football world after he came off the bench and led Alabama to a stirring 26-23 comeback win over Georgia in overtime. The victory wrapped up Bama's fifth national title in the last nine years.

Most pundits are already forecasting Tagovailoa as a future college star, and some have suggested he will eventually win the Heisman Trophy. On his FS1 radio show, host Colin Cowherd compared Tagovailoa's ability to an NFL star.

Cowherd said the five-star recruit is "a left-handed Russell Wilson."

While Tagovailoa is oozing with ability, there is reason for caution. He threw a bad interception last night and took a sack when he shouldn't have before he launched the game-winning touchdown pass. Also, people crowned Sam Darnold as the second coming after the Rose Bowl last year, and he had an up-and-down 2017.

At the same time, it is scary to think how good Alabama can be over the next couple of seasons with a quarterback as dynamic as Tagovailoa.
