Alabama is losing a number of big players from its national championship team, but running back Damien Harris is reportedly set to give the Crimson Tide some good news.
Damien Harris is coming off of his second straight 1,000 yard campaign. He was Alabama’s leading rusher as both a sophomore and junior.
After this year’s 1,000-yard, 11-touchdown season, Harris will reportedly return for one more fall in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama star running back Damien Harris has decided to return to the Crimson Tide for his senior season rather than enter the NFL draft, sources told AL.com.
Harris ran for 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns this season after running for 1,040 yards and two scores as a sophomore in 2016.
Alabama may not bring back its full compliment of running backs in 2018. Bo Scarbrough will reportedly declare for the NFL Draft after signing with an agent today. The Crimson Tide also lose standout wide receiver Calvin Ridley, and defensive tackle Da’Ron Payne.
Somehow, I think Nick Saban will manage to handle this reload.
