At this point, it’s clear ESPN college football analyst Danny Kanell, a former Florida State quarterback, has firmly entrenched himself as the network’s anti-SEC voice. Monday night, he was at it again on Twitter, trolling Alabama and its fans after seeing a statistic on the Crimson Tide’s inability to cover the spread (they’ve been favored in 65 straight games) the past year. He poked fun at people who think Alabama is currently a dynasty.

Truth be told, the concept of a dynasty is much more tied to winning games than covering point spreads. Alabama’s also won three of the past five national titles – with a fourth this season being a real possibility. That being said, the Crimson Tide have lost three games in the past year – of course, all of which they were favored to win.
