Nick Saban is not going down without a fight.
Ohio State defeated Wisconsin on Saturday night to win the Big 10, and it was exactly what Alabama needed to get back in the playoff conversation.
The top three spots are essentially locked down in no particular order between Clemson, Oklahoma and Georgia—but that fourth spot could realistically go to Ohio State, Alabama or even USC. There are legit arguments for all three, and shortly after the game, head coach Nick Saban went on ESPN to lobby for his team (and he trolled Ohio State in the process).
Check it out:
Saban asked if he is better than Ohio State: "The precedent was kind of set last year in the B1G, when Penn State beat Ohio State and Penn State won the B1G Championship, Ohio State had one less loss and they selected Ohio State."

Saban on SportsCenter: “If we lost to a team by 30 points, we wouldn't be having this conversation. You wouldn't even be talking to me."

Nick Saban on SVP: "We played Florida State, the No. 3 team in the country. And if Francois doesn't get hurt in the 4th quarter, they may be in the Top 10 right now. People kind of forget about that game. At the time it was sort of the opener of the century."
