Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster may not need another rotator cuff surgery after all.
Earlier today, a report from ESPN’s NFL Insiders indicated that Alabama linebacker and projected first round pick Reuben Foster might need another shoulder surgery. Foster already had surgery on it back in February.
Tonight on Twitter, Foster’s agent Malki Kawa refuted that report. According to Kawa, Foster’s NFL Combine physical recheck shows he’ll be ready for training camp.
ESPN had previously stated that the combine recheck indicated Foster’s rotator cuff wasn’t healing properly.
Real info from combine recheck: @ferrarifoster is ahead of schedule. Will be ready for training camp.

So, who is telling the truth here? We’ll have to wait a bit and see.
Either way, Foster should be a pretty high selection in next week’s draft. Any team looking for a productive linebacker in the first round has to have him under consideration.
