On Wednesday afternoon, Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts’ name popped up in the transfer portal. After sitting behind Tua Tagovailoa for much of the season, Hurts is likely on the move and will end his collegiate career with a different program.
That wasn’t all for the SEC. Late Wednesday night, another major quarterback reportedly entered his name into the portal to explore a transfer as well.
Arkansas starter Ty Storey put his name in the portal and will seek a transfer from the Razorbacks, according to Cole Cubelic.
Arkansas QB Ty Storey is exploring a transfer and is now listed in the ncaa transfer portal, per a source.

It’s an interesting decision form Storey, considering he was the team’s starting quarterback in 2018 after winning the job from Cole Kelley – who announced his transfer after losing the starting job.
Storey and Kelley finished No. 1 and No. 2 on the team in passing and no other quarterback attempted more than 45 attempts on the year. Connor Noland finished third on the team in passing with 42 attempts – though he threw two interceptions and just one touchdown on the year.
