The Razorbacks have their replacement for Bret Bielema.

It didn't take very long for Arkansas to find its Bret Bielema replacement, relative to the pace of Tennessee.

The Razorbacks have hired SMU head coach Chad Morris, who emerged as the clear favorite for the job after Auburn inked Gus Malzahn to a massive extension.

Morris, 49, broke into the college ranks with the high-flying Tulsa offense before taking over as offensive coordinator at Clemson.

Morris is 14-22 as a head coach. While that might not look great, he took SMU from a 2-win team in 2015 to a 7-win team in 2017. As a high school head coach Morris racked up an impressive 169-38 record before becoming one of the nation's highest-paid assistants at Clemson.
