Arkansas Running Back Alex Collins Ties Darren McFadden, Herschel Walker For Impressive SEC Record

On Saturday against Ole Miss, Arkansas running back Alex Collins rushed 17 times for 108 yards, putting him at 1,068 yards on the season. Last year, Collins ran for 1,100 yards, and in 2013, he hit 1,026 on the year. Three straight 1,000 yard campaigns puts him in rarefied air when it comes to the SEC. Collins is just the third player, joining fellow Razorback Darren McFadden and Georgia legend Herschel Walker, to run for 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.

Adding to how impressive this is, is that Collins split time with Jonathan Williams the last two years. Williams, who is out this season with a foot injury, totaled 2,090 yards in 2013 and 2014. Basically, if you play running back at Arkansas, you're going to put up some monster numbers.
