Bret Bielema announced that defensive end Tevin Beanum will not be playing his senior year for the Razorbacks.

During his press conference today, Bielema revealed that Beanum has stepped away from the game for an undisclosed medical reason.

According to Arkansas Online's presser notes, Bielema said that Beanum should be allowed to finish out his degree on scholarship using a medical hardship waiver.

Beanum played in 10 games this fall, recording 21 total tackles for Arkansas. In 2015, he started eight of the team's 13 games, recording 30 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and two sacks on the season. Beanum was a three-star recruit in Arkansas' 2013 recruiting class, and is originally from Forrest City, Arkansas.
