Video: Malik Monk Booed In First Game Since Choosing Kentucky Over Arkansas

Wednesday, five-star guard Malik Monk, who hails from Bentonville, Arkansas, officially announced that he'll be playing his collegiate basketball for Kentucky instead of the in-state Razorbacks. It doesn't look like basketball fans in Arkansas are taking it very well.

Thursday night, Monk played his first game since the announcement, and, predictably, the opposing fans at Conway High School gave him an earful. Supporters of the Wampus Cats (yup that's real) booed him every time he touched the ball, and even called the Hogs during the contest.

In the end, it didn't matter. Monk scored 34 points, leading his team to an 86-71 win. Still, you can expect Monk to have to deal with this all season.
