As a freshman in 2019, Auburn quarterback Bo Nix looked like a star in the making. But he fell down to earth in 2020, and his final game of the season really has Auburn fans unhappy.

Nix and the Tigers trail Northwestern by three touchdowns in the Citrus Bowl due in no small part to Nix's inaccuracy. The Auburn sophomore QB is 21 of 34 for 226 yards and a touchdown through 3.5 quarters. On the ground he has nine carries for 33 yards.

Auburn's offense turned the ball over twice during the game, and was briefly sidelined with an injury. He returned late in the game to try and rally the team, but the comeback came well short.

On Twitter, Nix has been getting raked over the coals. Just about every Auburn fan is ready to show Nix the door after his brutal performance today and this season.

Bo Nix completed 60-percent of his passes for 2,123 yards and 11 touchdowns with seven picks in ten games this year.

Auburn went just 6-4 and fired head coach Gus Malzahn several weeks back.

Incoming head coach Bryan Harsin will no doubt be evaluating his new roster hard once he takes over the team in a few weeks. There's no reason to believe he won't have the starting QB job up for grabs in the coming offseason.

Will Bo Nix finish his college career at Auburn, or will he be ousted in the weeks to come?
