Auburn Great Cam Newton Named NFL MVP By Pro Football Writers Of America

It has been quite a season for former Auburn great Cam Newton. He announced the birth of his son Chosen last month, His Carolina Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals in this weekend's NFC Championship, and now the individual awards are rolling in for the superstar quarterback. The NFL hasn't announced its official MVP yet, but Newton was given the award, as well as Offensive Player of the Year, but the Pro Football Writers of America.

Next up: the NFL MVP and a Super Bowl win? If Newton pulls it off, it will be harder to have a better few months than him as an athlete.
