One of the nation's top college basketball programs is in danger of losing its second game of the season.

No. 7 Auburn entered its contest against NC State with a 9-1 record, though after one half of play it looks like the Tigers are in for a dogfight.

After 20 minutes, NC State lead the contest by eight points after entering the game as a 2-point underdog. The Wolfpack, who sit at 9-1 on the year, are hoping to hold off the Tigers in the second half to pull off the significant upset.

The Tigers are shooting well from the field tonight, but NC State has the edge from the three-point line which gave them a slight lead heading into halftime.

NC State enters the half with a 35-27 lead.

Can the Wolfpack hold on to defeat the slight favorite? Or will Auburn finally wake up and take control of the contest?
