An Auburn defensive lineman is going to stay with the team for the 2022 season.

Marquis Robinson entered his name in the transfer portal earlier in the offseason but has now removed his name from the portal. The news first broke from On3 Sports.

Robinson played sparingly for the Tigers this past season. He only recorded one tackle in 2021 and it came against Georgia on Oct. 9.

Before committing to Auburn, Robinson was a four-star recruit and the No. 51 player in his home state (Florida). He was also the No. 42 defensive lineman recruit in the country and the No. 329 overall recruit, regardless of position per 247Sports.

It remains to be seen if he'll get more playing time this season as Auburn looks to get back to being above .500.
