Auburn's Gus Malzahn Wants CFB Playoff To Expand To 8 Teams Because It'll Basically "Guarantee" SEC Gets 2 Teams In

The College Football Playoff is four teams big and all indications point to the tournament staying at that number for the near future. 

Many believe the playoff would be better if it was eight teams large. 

Auburn's Gus Malzahn is included in that group. The Tigers' coach says if the playoff doubles in size, it'll basically "guarantee" that his conference, the SEC, gets at least two teams in.

Well, he's not wrong. It's incredibly hard to imagine an eight-team playoff only including one SEC team.
