Auburn landed a big-time defensive lineman out of Birmingham today, with the commitment of four-star Coynis Miller.
The Jackson-Olin star is ranked No. 163 overall in the class of 2018, by 247Sports.
247 also has him ranked No. 15 among defensive tackles and No. 5 in the state of Alabama.
He announced his commitment earlier this afternoon, with a video produced by AL.com:
Miller also held a ceremony today, where he made the big announcement with friends and family.
Miller will join former high school teammate T.D. Moultry, a former four-star recruit and now a freshman linebacker for the Tigers.
Auburn beat out offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, and others. It doesn't get much better than that for a big player from Alabama.
Miller is the 14th member of Auburn's 2018 class, a group that is ranked seventh in the SEC and No. 18 in the country.
