Former Auburn QB Nick Marshall Is Switching Positions For The NFL Draft

Former Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall was extremely successful as the starter for the Tigers the past two seasons, but it's always been clear that if he wanted to play at the next level, he'd probably have to switch positions. Tuesday, Marshall made it official, opting to move to cornerback ahead of the NFL Draft. Brandon Marcello of the Alabama Media Group was the first to break the news on Twitter.

Marshall relied on his legs a great deal at Auburn (he ran the ball 325 times over the past two years), and he was the perfect fit for head coach Gus Malzahn's up-tempo offense. It'll be interesting to see if he's able to adapt to a completely different position.
