New Auburn Starting Quarterback Sean White: "Time To Get To Work"

It took all of three weeks from Auburn quarterback to go from trendy Heisman sleeper to second string. Johnson is completing under 60 percent of his throws and has been picked off six times in three games for the 2-1 Tigers, and he is being replaced by redshirt freshman Sean White. White, a former four-star recruit out of Florida, is ready to go, based on a recent tweet.

White redshirted last season and is yet to take a snap this season, so he is really being thrown into the fire by Gus Malzahn. His first opponent, Mississippi State, does not have the toughest defense that the SEC has to offer, but it will still be a challenging debut for White. At 2-1, the Tigers have time to get things back on track, but they'll need White to help bring the offense back to the level that Auburn has been accustomed to during Malzahn's tenure.
