Photo: Bruce Pearl Has Auburn Basketball Team 'Running Stadiums' To Honor Tigers' Football Program

It's fair to say that historically, Auburn has had much more success on the football field than it has on the basketball court. Clearly, new men's basketball head coach Bruce Pearl wants to try and narrow the gap between the two. The new Tigers head man has his work cut out for him however, as AU has failed to reach the NCAA Tournament for 11 straight seasons. Per a tweet he sent out early this morning, he's clearly doing his best to get his players ready for the fall.

Pearl posted a photo of his team (and his son, a staff member) running "stadiums" at Jordan-Hare Stadium. He made it clear that he's honoring the Tigers' football program by choosing to have his players work out in the facility.

Pearl, who was extremely successful at Tennessee before a number of scandals led to his ousting, has a very good shot at turning around this program - so long as fans are patient and realize that it may not all happen in the first year
