Photos: Auburn Fans Are Planning On Bringing Their Own Cowbells To Mississippi State
A group of Auburn fans are trying their best to negate the home-field advantage Mississippi State will have Saturday when the Bulldogs host the Tigers at Davis Wade Stadium.
Mississippi State has been ringing cowbells at its games since the 1930s. It's a tradition so important that the school's athletic director had to send a letter out about proper ringing etiquette.
Auburn fans traveling to Starkville for the game are planning on bringing their own cowbells to ring when Mississippi State has the ball.

It's an interesting strategy to bring more noise makers into a hostile road environment, but if used properly, maybe it'll make a difference.
Auburn and Mississippi State are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
