Former Auburn Star, NFL Player Quentin Groves Dies At Age Of 32

Former Auburn football star Quentin Groves has passed away at the age of 32.

Former Auburn linebacker Quentin Groves, who also had a short stint in the NFL, has died at the age of 32, according to multiple reports. Groves, according to 247 Sports, was in Trinidad with his family celebrating his daughter's birthday at the time of his death.

Groves, who was an All-SEC selection twice, was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars back in the 2008 NFL Draft.

There's no official report on Groves' cause of death. Luke Easterling of USA Today, however, is reporting that Groves suffered a heart attack.

Groves, after medical tests at the NFL Combine, was discovered to have Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. He had an ablation to help treat the disorder. Auburn confirmed the tragic news Saturday afternoon.
