Ricky Seals-Jones Responds To Blake Countess With Photo Of Hit That Injured Jeremiah Dinson

Sometimes it is best to just let things on social media go. On Monday, Auburn's Blake Countess posted a photo on Instagram where he appears to be stepping on Texas A&M star Christian Kirk, with the caption "I got my foot on they neck and my foot on the GAS! #COUNTUP #YungLordz." Now, Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones has responded to Countess directly, with a photo of his own sharing that caption.

Controversial Auburn and Texas A&M play.

The picture shows him delivering a big hit on Auburn cornerback Jeremiah Dinson. On the play, Seals-Jones was called for targeting, a penalty that was reviewed and overturned, but Dinson went down with an injury. This afternoon, it was revealed that Dinson tore three ligaments, and dislocated his knee and shoulder on the brutal injury, costing him the rest of his season. Seals-Jones is catching a lot of flack for the post.

">@RickySealsJones you take pride in tearing 3 ligaments in his knee, dislocating his knee and shoulder? Sad people in this world.

Seals-Jones might not be aware of the specific injuries that Dinson sustained on the play, but he had to realize it was serious when he was carted off the field. Posting this, even as a response to trash talk, was definitely not the most wise move here.
