Tre Mason Vehemently Denies Reports That He Will Undergo Post-Draft Wrist Surgery

File this one under "strange Twitter interactions between players and media members." Earlier today, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that Auburn running back Tre Mason would be going under the knife after the NFL Draft to repair a bone in his wrist. What seemed like a basic story turned far more interesting when Mason himself responded to Rapoport, saying that he is in perfect health, and does not require any surgery.

Now Mason is reaching out to other websites to deny that he will have the surgery.

">@Rotoworld_FB false and WILL NOT be having any surgery to body!

This is a strange story, especially if the surgery wouldn't have much impact on his draft stock. Time will tell which side of this story is true.
